Marguerite's Garden

Recently widowed mother of 3 adult children, Marguerite Tolliver, is starting over from square one, at 41 years of age. For the first time in 25 years, she is single again, and on a mission to rediscover, if she had ever truly known, herself.  She had barely been out of childhood when she married William Tolliver, a man 20 years her senior.  It was a marriage born of necessity and pure survival.  She had never learned the art of dating.

As Marguerite sets out to navigate her new reality in unfamiliar terrain, she stumbles upon:

New people – her unlikely best friend, who teaches Marguerite to overcome her fears and insecurities, and grab hold of life with 2 fists; and

New adventures – a handsome 28-year-old man who appeared on her doorstep just days after she buried her husband, and who proceeds to turn Marguerite’s carefully crafted, safe, and well-tended world upside-down and inside-out!
